“Two for The Show”

Oklahoma  City, OK – October 19th, 2009 --  Opening & exhibit by Oklahoma artists Bob & Bev Landdeck at the "In Your Eye Studio & Gallery" in the Historic Paseo Arts District. Opening reception  is Friday, November 6th from 6:00pm-10:00pm. In Your Eye Gallery will also be hosting the Stable Ridge Vineyards located in Stroud, OK. Show runs thru November 30th.

Bev and Bob want people to pause and see the beauty and emotion of everyday places and objects in their art.   Their works seek to preserve the memories of rolling landscapes, fiery sunsets and pristine snow scenes, which reflect a view of their life experiences. As they travel, Bev & Bob interpret their appreciation of nature through their eclectic mix of watercolors, pastels, acrylics and bold abstracts.

The vineyard and winery came about as a result of two tornados. The first storm in May of 1999 hit the home of owners Don and Annetta Neal and the adjoining property.  The storm enabled the purchase of neighboring property for development into a vineyard.. The first grapes were planted in 2000. The winery came as a result of the 2003 tornado that leveled the Neal's downtown warehouse. The replacement building is now the winery to the east of the tasting room.  Stable Ridge Vineyards is proudly located in Stroud, Oklahoma. We are one mile west of downtown and bordered by Old Stroud Road & Historic Route 66.
