The Three Orrs

Join the In Your Eye Gallery in August as it features the artwork of Karen Orr, Roy Orr and the late Kay Orr.

Karen Orr is a painter with an eclectic attitude and style. Restless with repetitive-type theme paintings she fires off in many different directions using a variety of media. Abstracts in oil, landscapes in acrylic, florals in watercolor, portraits in pastel – you never know what to expect, except the unexpected.

Her husband, Roy Orr, has a lifelong love of natural beauty that was instilled in him as a young boy at his grandfather’s knee. The art furniture he creates reflects that beauty in his flowing designs that follow the natural shape and grain of the wood. He takes what Mother Nature provides and turns it into functional furniture that feels like silk.

The late Kay Orr was a Paseo icon and was a large influence on many of the painters that show their work there today. A few of her most important pieces are being made available for purchase for this month only.

Opening & exhibit by the artists in the "In Your Eye Studio & Gallery" in the Historic Paseo Arts District. Opening reception is Friday, August 7th from 6:00pm-10:00pm. In Your Eye Gallery will also be hosting the Vintner’s Cellars located in Oklahoma City, OK. Show runs thru August 31st.
