Silver & Silk; Wearable Art by Sarah Davison & Irma Braun-Hampton
There will be an opening & exhibit by Tulsa jewelry artist Sarah Davison and Oklahoma City silk artist Irma Braun-Hampton at the "In Your Eye Studio & Gallery" in the Historic Paseo Arts District. Opening reception is Friday, November 7th from 6:00pm-10:00pm. In Your Eye Gallery will also be hosting the Grape Ranch Vineyard located on the Whiteman family ranch just outside of Okemah, OK. Show runs thru November 30th.
Sarah Davison has joined forces with Irma Braun-Hampton to display wearable art of jewelry and silk. This exhibit will feature colorful and unusual one of kind jewelry created by Sarah Davison as well as various silk paintings, wall hangings and scarves created by Irma Braun Hampton that you will want to take home with you. The two exhibits compliment each other, because both jewelry and silk painting artists utilize similar techniques when applying color and design to create different effects. With all the similarities of technique and approach, each art form yields distinctive results.
