DANA POWELL
Even as a child, Dana has always loved color. The interplay of colors juxtaposed next to each other, with all the various shades and nuances, intrigues her. It was this desire to express herself through color that led her to study art with Kay Orr. She admired her vibrant style of painting and took classes from her for ten years. Her favorite subjects are street scenes and interiors. She lived in Spain for a year and finds herself revisiting that experience with various scenes of Spanish villages.
